As you navigate the trail, be prepared for some stairs and uneven stone steps, especially as you ascend uphill. Along the way, you'll have ample opportunity to admire the beautiful trees that line the trail. The trail then leads you to the top of Lumsdale Falls. The waterfall is a highlight of the hike, cascading gracefully through a narrow chasm surrounded by craggy cliff walls. The area around the falls has plenty of rocks to sit on. Be cautious of slippery sections, especially when wet.
